CES is slowly approaching and Nintendo is expected to bring their latest console the Wii U, which was debuted at last year’s E3. Unfortunately not too many surprised are expected at the show.
CNET is reporting that Nintendo will bring the console to the event, stating, “Nintendo is bringing the Wii U to CES and I’ll be getting more hands-on with the tablet-console hybrid to build on my impressions from E3 2011. Nintendo has historically skipped over CES, but it’s great to hear the company will have a presence there in 2012.”
Not much has been heard from Nintendo on the Wii U front since E3, most of their marketing and attention have been spent on promoting the Nintendo 3DS and adjusting strategies since its price drop.
A final product stage for the Wii U will be expected to hit E3 next year in June. Until then expect to hear a lot about the Nintendo 3DS and small fragments about the Wii U.
