Reports are that the Wii U will feature a custom Radeon GPU chip that is stronger than the GPUs of the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
Some other great features are that is is capable of DirectX 10, while also handling up to four SD video streams. As GAME Watch points out, the Xbox 360 was limited to DirectX 9, while the PS3 employs OpenGL APIs. Just like the PS3 and Xbox 360, the graphics and engines running them will improve over time but we are excited to see what the new Wii can do.
