According to Shigeru Miyamoto, the next Zelda game for the Nintendo 3DS could potentially be a toss up between Majora’s Mask or a remake of one of the best games ever made, the SNES classic A Link to the Past.
Apparently, it could even be a sequel to A Link to the Past. Speaking to IGN, Miyamoto stated: “We haven’t quite decided yet, whether we’re going to do A Link to the Past, because there’s also the possibility of doing a remake of Majora’s Mask.
This is something we’ve certainly been talking about and doing a little bit of experimenting with, to figure out which way we’re going to go.”
Well shut the front door and slap me silly! While I loved Majora’s Mask, who agrees with me that a remastered LTTP maintaining the original’s top-down view would look FANTASTIC on the 3DS? The system was tailormade for a game like that.
