United Front Games awards Just Cause 2 players in Sleeping Dogs

 
If you played Square Enix’s previous title ‘Just Cause 2′ and are planning on picking up their upcoming open-world action title ‘Sleeping Dogs’ then you are in for some free throwback items. 
 
Square Enix has announced, via press-release, that players with a saved-game file of ‘Just Cause 2′ will get a “unique new player outfit… a Just Cause 2 clothes set”. The clothes will appear when players visit Wei Shen’s safehouse wardrobe. There they will find an outfit that features, “Rico Rodriguez’ trademark look”.
 
The outfit isn’t just for show, the clothes will also grant players a new “hijack ability”, this ability will allow players to perform stunt-style takeovers of enemy vehicles from an even greater distance.
 
Sleeping Dogs will be available from 14th August 2012 for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and Windows PCs. The game is available for pre-order with various pre-order bonuses and DLC options.
