One of the most anticipated games of this year’s Sony E3 2012 press event was ‘The Last of Us’ being developed by Naughty Dog. It was one of the greatest trailers shown at this years event so far, and you can watch below.
Naughty Dog released a new cinematic trailer for their upcoming survivor title ‘The Last of Us’, which showed a revamped version of one the lead characters Ellie. You can get a better look at her redesign below.
Naughty Dog is hard at work prepping ‘The Last of Us’ for E3 2012, the new title is expected to be released sometime in 2012, most likely holiday and is a survivor-thriller. Though an exact date isn’t pinned down at the moment.
Crash Bandicoot. Jak and Daxter. Uncharted. The Last of Us. The list of games that have made Naughty Dog a household name is impressive, to say the least. Throughout the last few generations of gaming, we’ve come to expect great things from Naughty Dog, whether it’s a fantastic platformer, or a true, interactive movie experience.

Evan Wells, Co-President of Naughty Dog, posted a new image on Twitter this afternoon showing off what appears to be a character model of “the infected”.
PlayStation Norway has posted an image of Norwegian explorer Fridtjof Nansen where Nansen’s face is obscured by the word “uutforsket,” or “unexplored.” Certain websites have also pointed out that it could potentially mean “uncharted.”
Naughty Dog has released a new trailer for their upcoming DLC pack ‘Co-op Shade Survival Mode’. The new DLC features a new co-op mode that is hitting the PSN store later this month.
Naughty Dog is still hard at work at their upcoming title, ‘The Last of Us’. Though not too many details have been shared about the game, the Development company that brought you the ‘Uncharted’ series seems more than happy to share their work with screen-shots.
Despite an earlier report where Sony Computer Entertainment America’s senior vice president of PlayStation brand marketing Guy Longworth mentioned that Naughty Dog would be working on Vita games, the Uncharted developer has gone on record to state that they are not, and have no plans to work on Vita games.
AllGamesBeta has revealed a number of gorgeous screenshots for the upcoming The Last of Us, and they look simply outstanding! This follows on the heels of a major gameplay feature in the latest Game Informer issue, which reveal, amongst other things, an “awesome” online mode.
Critically, Uncharted 3 has been praised heavily by critics everywhere. The story of Nathan Drake’s third adventure on our PS3s has hit a chord, and became one of the highest rated titles of the year.
Ah, complainers. Gotta love ‘em….right? RIGHT? The latest batch has been from forums awash with complaints about Uncharted 3′s gun mechanics. Evidently the new mechanics are too “clunky” and “sluggish” apparently?
I don’t know about you, but I like the fact that the Uncharted series is so linear and presents a solid narrative. I feel that a good story is being pushed back in favor of multiplayer in gaming today, and it’s refreshing to see a series so 100% focused on telling a story.
Uncharted 3 drops in a few days, and I’m sure we’re all super excited for it. In the meantime, Uncharted 3′s game director Justin Richmond answered some questions by OPM and had some pretty interesting tidbits to reveal.
