Sony and Lightbox Interactive have made an announcement today that is sure to please all ‘Starhawk’ fans. The two companies announced that all map-packs, that will be released in the future, will be free.
Dylan Jobe, President of LightBox Interactive, announced the news today via the Playstation.Blog:
We are incredibly excited to announce that all map packs for Starhawk will be free. Yeah, you read that right…FREE. Whenever we release a map pack you won’t have to pay a friggin’ dime!
Jobe said that the reason behind the free content was to end the “divisions” that paid DLC casuses between the online-community. That is something that every multiplayer gamer can agree with and is a terrific testimony to the dedication that Lighthouse Interactive has to its fan-base.
