THQ has released a few screenshots for their upcoming RPG ‘South Park: The Stick of Truth’ a new title set for the PS3, PC and Xbox 360. The screens show just how perfectly Obsidian Entertainment has captured the unique animated-style of the popular television series.
South Park: The Stick of Truth was a tremendous success at E3, capturing multiple awards in the RPG category from numerous publishers. The creators of the show, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, were on-hand as well and talked about the challenges of brining the series to the video-game market. As it turns out, one of the largest problems was mapping out the famous town, which was never needed since the show cuts to scenes or locations with no sense of directions needed. The teams working on the game still have a while to nail down all the final pieces, the game isn’t scheduled to be released until March 2013.
