Sony has announced that the company will be removing the recently added ‘Facebook’ application on the PS Vita due to problems with the social-network’s server settings.
Sony is claiming that the issue is due to a processing error on Facebook’s servers and not on the PS Vita itself. This comes after customers complained of error codes and problems using the application.
You can no longer download the application on the Playstation store and there is no timeframe on when the issue will be resolved. Sony had this to say on the official Playstation EU Twitter:
The Facebook App for PS Vita has been removed from PS Store due to an issue on the Facebook side. We’re working with them to fix it ASAP.
