Just before all the big news breaks at this year’s E3 2012, Sony has decided to announce that they will be released a new item in the PlayStation accessories “family”. Sony unveils the ‘Pulse Wireless Stereo Headset: Elite Edition’, featuring “BassImpact†technology.
Richard Ho, Associate Product Marketing Manager, broke the news on the official Playstation.blog, where he posted the following details, video and pictures of the headset. Ho talks about the new headset’s features in the post stating:
BassImpact technology translates bass sounds into ‘pulses’ around the earpads of the headset. Pulse – Elite Edition combines 7.1 virtual surround sound with BassImpact to deliver an unprecedented level of immersion, while sharpening your perception on the battlefield or anywhere else you play. This is truly the ultimate audio advantage.
The headsets won’t be available until “this fall” and will hit stores for $149.99 (MSRP), They are listed to work for PS3, PS Vita and your “mobile device”.
