Todd Howard stated that the first DLC for Elder Scrolls: Skyrim will launch on Xbox 360 on June 26, 2012. That is, if nothing goes wrong until then. 
 
That’s what Howard told Joystiq shortly after a demo for the DLC was played during E3 2012. Bethesda has taken a few extra steps for this DLC, more than the other console updates or patches, by allowing Xbox 360 players to Beta test the DLC before the release date.
 
Bethesda has allowed PC users to beta test the patches, and allowed them to test this DLC as well, but consoles are usually not included in the beta testing for Skyrim. It’s a good first step to stop some of the repeated bugs that have plagued Skyrim in the past.
