Reports point to Epic Mickey developer ‘Junction Point’ to close this year
January 28th 2013 By Sarah Fox contact email , twitter
Several unconfirmed reports are circulating the internet that suggest that Disney Interactive will close down ‘Epic Mickey’ game developer ‘Junction Point’. Here are the details.
The speculation began following a recent Tweet from Chris Roberts of Robert Space Industries (RSI) which stated, “Second 21 gun salute for a studio in 7 days. Fare-the-well Junction Point! We hope that you all find new studios soonâ€. The development studio that Warren Spector’s used to create the Epic Mickey franchise has been rumored to be in danger of closing for the past few weeks, though this is the closest source that gives the rumors any basis.
Disney Interactive has not made an official statement on the matter at this time.
