Minecraft Tops 3 Million Sales On Xbox Live

Minecraft creator Markus ‘Notch’ Persson stated on his Twitter this morning that sales of the Xbox 360 edition have topped 3 million.
“I got told Minecraft for XBLA passed three million sales today!” he shared. Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition previously broke sales records by becoming the biggest selling title in a 24 hour period on XBLA. It went on to sell over a million copies in less than a week.
For those who haven’t given this quirky mega-hit a shot yet; think twice before doing it. It…will…eat…away…at…your…life. Just a warning.
