Minecraft 1.3 will unify both single and multiplayer
The next big update for ‘Minecraft’ will be update 1.3 and it is aimed at bringing the community closer together. This will be a very large update for the game, it is coming the first week of August.
August 1st to be exact, if everything goes according to plan. One of the largest features in the update will be combining the multiplayer-mode with the single-player mode. This is to address certain API requirements that will be installed later on by the developer. It will bring all the mods together, you won’t have to make one for each mode anymore.
You can also start collecting emeralds in both gem and ore form as well as write in the books you have. There are a lot of small additions to the game as well that will be implemented in upcoming updates. You can check out the official blog pst below for all the details.
