Windows 8. Windows Phone 8. And….Xbox 8? If a recent dispute over Xbox-related domains is any indication, then we may have our first glimpse at the name of the next Xbox console. 
 
Microsoft has secured the domains “Xbox8.us” and “Xbox8.org.” In addition, the domain names “XboxTablet.com,” “XboxLiveTV.com,” and “XboxCompanion.com” were also included.
 
It seems that with the impending launch of Windows 8 and the Windows Phone 8, Microsoft is looking to integrate their console into the “8″ family in name also. It’s a clear indication of MS’s plans for a greater degree of integration between the Xbox, PC, phone, and tablet.
 
Is this the way of the future?
