Raiden did always take a backseat to Solid Snake in the Metal Gear series, today he gets to be front and center in the press department.  Kojima announced in June of 2010 that he will would be passing the torch in leading up the Metal Gear: Rising development to Shigenobu Matsuyama, well that has changed once again.
 
Yuji Korekado (Zone of the Enders HD) will now take the Producer role of Metal Gear Solid: Rising. This was confirmed from Kojima Productions producer Kenichiro Imaizumi on his Twitter account.
 
News, trailers and details of Metal Gear Solid: Rising have been as silent as Solid Snake himself over the last few months but hopefully now that the players have changed behind the scenes we will start to learn more about this latest installment in the series.
