One of the highlights from the Nintendo Direct press-conference that was held last night, was the introduction of the new Nintendo 3DS XL. You can get a great look of the new handheld below and check out the new specs. 
 
The screen is 90% bigger than the previous Nintendo 3DS. The memory card capacity has been increased to 4GB to handle the new digital downloads being offered. The top screen has a width of 4.88 inches, while the bottom screen comes in slightly smalleer at 4.18 inches.
 
The handheld will bew released in North America on August 19 and cost $199.99 (red or blue)
