Rockstar Games has announced that they will be condensing the future DLC for their hit third-person shooter ‘Max Payne 3′ into three easier to digest packages. The development team will be kicking off the new DLC will a free pack this August.
The free pack is called the ‘Disorganized Crime Pack’. In a press-release sent out by Rockstar Games earlier today, the development talks about the free DLC and what it will bring to players:
The free Disorganized Crime Pack for Max Payne 3 gives players the opportunity to battle above the streets surrounding Max’s old apartment in the new Hoboken Rooftops multiplayer map. This pack also includes several new modifiers for Score Attack in Arcade Mode including Explosive Rounds where all bullets detonate on impact, Lone Wolf AI for much more aggressive enemies and Headshots Only which adds an extra layer of precision to gaining each kill.
The following DLC is as follows:
- Disorganized Crime Pack: August [Free]
- Hostage Negotiation Map Pack: September [800 Microsoft Points (Xbox LIVE) or $9.99 (PlayStation Network and PC)]
- Painful Memories Map Pack: October [800 Microsoft Points (Xbox LIVE) or $9.99 (PlayStation Network and PC)]
- Deathmatch Made In Heaven Mode Pack: October [800 Microsoft Points (Xbox LIVE) or $9.99 (PlayStation Network and PC)]
As you can see, Rockstar has consolidated the content from the remaining 5 DLC packs into just 3 purchases. The ‘New York Minute Co-Op Pack’ and ‘Trickle Down Economics Map Pack’ has now been spread across these upcoming releases. If you were interested in the co-op DLC that would have been in the ‘New York Minute Pack’ it will now be included in the ‘Deathmatch Made In Heaven Pack’
