EA and Bioware have officially announced an “Extended Cut” DLC which will add to the game’s critiqued ending. The DLC will be free and is due out this summer on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
The content will add some new “cinematic sequences and epilogue scenes,” according to EA and will aim to “further clarity to the ending of Mass Effect 3″. This after fans of the series were in an uproar on how the famous trilogy ended. There was no official launch date given for the DLC and Bioware did not say if this means other DLC packages would be on-hold until the “Extended Cut” will be released.
The DLC pack was only given a “this summer” time frame, which gives fans that bought the game recently a chance to choose for themselves if they like the ending then buy a DLC to watch it all over again.

I’m satisfied with the DLC announcement from Bioware. All it does is that it clarifies and not change it and if you’re a purest than don’t download it
