Insomniac goes social with Outernauts, company’s first RPG Facebook title

 
The beta is finished and EA and Insomniac have launched their first joint Facebook game titled ‘Outernauts’. The new action RPG app is available to join starting today and EA has released a few screens to entice you. 
 
The game centers around the player’s ability to “Capture and train alien beasts for battle”, while exploring the galaxy and fighting off AI and human players. Players can team up with other Facebook friends or fight against them in the new action-RPG. The game isn’t just about beast-taming, a mysterious “ancients” has been discovered and players must learn about its mysteries while fending off an evil corporation who is attempting to rule the known galaxy. The game features asynchronous gameplay and is available exclusively for Facebook.
