It has been a long time coming but Sony has officially set a date for ‘Grand Theft Auto III’ on PSN. Even though GTA: IV has already been on the PSN market for sometime now; fans of the series can reply the third installment starting next week.
The official release date will be July 31, 2012; a typical Tuesday update on PSN. The news came via the “Official PlayStation Blogcast” and the date is for the North American PSN store.
Priced at $9.99 the game is not an HD upgrade but the standard PS2 version of the title. As of right now there are no extras (DLC, Trophies) for the game, it is the same as it was when it came out on PS2 all those years ago.
