Gearbox Software have released some new details about the new Gunzerker class and the Siren character for their upcoming title Borderlands 2.
What we now know about the Gunzerker class is that will support dual-wield, but not forever, just for a limited timeframe. This will add a measure of strategy on when you will take advantage of the feature, as well what guns you will choose to pair-up.
There is also a skill tree implemented in the class; one helping you boost defensive skills like health or focus enemy fire on your character to spare your weaker friends. There is a skill tree that will enhance your berzerk mode after kills, and not but not least, a skill tree named “Gun Lust”. The last skill tree is less “group-friendly” and focuses on boosting your characters ammo, health or damage abilities.
Another big change in the game is the Siren class, not only is Gearbox hosting an open casting-call for the character but they have modified a few other traits about the vixen. First they are changing the ability she had in the previous game, Anthony Burch the lead writer says, “very, very different and very, very new,” Nothing as concrete as you may like but it is some exciting news for people that enjoyed her character in the previous game.
