Last week, there were rumors circulating many gaming-sites that Final Fantasy Versus XIII had been cancelled. Today, Square Enix president Yoichi Wada has gone on to say that the rumors are not true, and that the game has not been abandoned.
Yoichi Wada mentioned via his Twitter that he has attended a meeting today about the game, and that fans will be surprised at how it is shaping up.
I sure hope so, since the game was announced six years ago. It’s been quite a wait, wouldn’t you say?
