Medal of Honor has its highs and lows and the latest installment of the series ‘Medal of Honor: Warfighter’ was definitely a low. So low, that EA has decided to put off releasing another title for a while.
According to Electronic Arts COO Peter Moore the game was fine, it was just the gaming community that had bugs stating, “The game was solid, but the focus on combat authenticity did not resonate with consumers”. Moore continued passing around other reasons for the game’s poor performance saying, “Critics were polarized and gave the game scores which were, frankly, lower than it deserved”. So there you have it, you people ruined Medal of Honor for a few years.
This isn’t the first time Medal of Honor has been put aside, and it probably won’t be the last time. It still is a strong series, one that should come back, just later, when gamers aren’t so delirious.
