Blizzard is taking measures to start enforcing, a now disabled, game restriction. More precisely, how many games one can create in a certain period of time.
In short the new limit is this, “we’ll be re-enabling the limit on how many games a player can create within a certain amount of time” says a Blizzard employee on the site’s official forums. The new limits haven’t gone into effect yet and Blizzard has stated that they have done ‘in-house’ testing to make sure it won’t affect regular players. “We’ve further tuned and tested the conditions that trigger this limit to ensure, as much as possible, that it only affects those abusing the Diablo III game service in a way that violates the Terms of Use – for example, by using bots that create games in rapid succession” states the forum post on the matter.
The new limits of course can not be detailed or bot-users will simply tweak their settings to adjust to the new rule. Blizzard will be open to any feedback once the change do go live, you can post that feedback once the limits are in place below.
