DC: Universe Online is gearing up for it’s 16th update and this one is bringing in the Prince of Tides himself…Aquaman. You can get the latest details about the event below. 
 
The news comes from San Diego Comic Con, where Sony Online Entertainment and DC are spilling some of the beans on the new update. This will be DCUO’s summer event for the game and it’s called ‘Tides of War’.
 
The setting for the game is Aquaman is fighting Ocean Master for control of the sea. Aquaman’s forces and Ocean Master’s forces are locked in battle, a true battle of good vs. evil. Players will have to choose who to help, then beat the usual missions, alerts and feats that come with the update. DCUO will release more information over the coming weeks, until then you can ask yourself how much you love Aquaman.
 
New Boss Battle!

• Dive down and assist either Aquaman or Ocean Master in a fierce boss battle in the Atlantean Warpost!
• This 4-person alert is open to Heroes and Villains level 5 and higher.

New Open World Missions!

• Join the fight in the waters between Metropolis and Little Bohemia!
• Assist the Atlanteans or the Mutineers, and take down the enemy ships!

New Rewards!

• Earn and discover new Summer Seasonal rewards throughout the event, including new styles, pets, trinkets, and more!
• Earn the all new Summer Seasonal currency, the Sand Dollar, and purchase all new items from Summer Seasonal vendors.
• Discover new item drops throughout the new content.
• Seek out new Feats and Collections!
