Fans of the Darksiders Series can further their death-experience by pre-ordering the official soundtrack starting today. The two-disc soundtrack is set to release this August, alongside the game ‘Darksiders II’ and will feature 26 tracks. 
 
The score was composed by Jesper Kyd (Assassin’s Creed and Hitman series) and is being produced by ‘Sumthing Else Music Works’. The soundtrack will be available for digital-download starting on August 14, 2024 but fans that want a retail copy can pre-order the physical media.

DARKSIDERS II follows the exploits of DEATH, one of the four horsemen of the Apocalypse, in a weaving tale that runs parallel to the events in the original Darksiders game. This epic journey propels DEATH through various light and dark realms as he tries to redeem his brother WAR, the horseman who was blamed for prematurely starting the Apocalypse in Darksiders. DARKSIDERS II is scheduled to be available for console and PC on August 14th, 2012 in the United States.
