If you haven’t pre-ordered one of the three different versions of ‘Borderlands 2′ from developer Gearbox, then you are becoming the minority. Take-Two announced during a first-quarter conference call, that Borderlands 2 is killing it in pre-order sales.
The open-world shooter RPG title, is currently ranked third-place in pre-order sales of all-time. CEO, Karl Slatoff stated during the call, “Preorders are currently the third highest of any title in Take-Two’s history, behind only Grand Theft Auto 4 and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.”
That is a pretty incredible place to hold when you think about what games Take-Two has published since 1993. The game still has over a month to go before it is released. Borderlands 2 is scheduled to hit the PS3, PC and Xbox 360 on September 18, 2012.
There are three versions of the game that you can pre-order, all of which come with some pretty fantastic bonuses. Even the standard version comes with FREE DLC and $10 credit at Amazon. You can check out all three different pre-order bonuses below.
