Amazon, Best Buy and GameStop slash Xbox Live Gold card prices

It seems that there is a current price war going on at major online stores, all three of the top game retailers have cut the prices on Xbox Live GOLD 12 month cards. Here are the details. 
 
The sales began yesterday when Amazon and Best Buy reduced the one-year subscriptions of Xbox LIVE GOLD cards from $59.99 to just $39.99. Now GameStop has began it’s own promotion on the online-codes, matching both retailers at $39.99 for a one-year subscription.
 
Other notable sales include Amazon’s ’5-game Settler’s Bundle for $15.99′ or the ‘
Microsoft 5-Game Arcade/Indie Pack’ which includes 5 games from Microsoft, including ‘Mark of the Ninja’, for just $9.99.
 
GameStop has the following ‘Tax Refund’ sale going on:

  • $20 off Xbox LIVE 12 month gold card
  • 20% off all Turtle Beach headsets
  • Buy 1 get 1 free on all Wii and DS games
  • Purchase Far Cry 3 for Xbox 360, PS3 or PC and receive Ghost Recon: Future Solider free
  • GameStop refurbished Nintendo Wii bundle with 5 games only $99.99
  • GameStop refurbished PlayStation 3 bundle with 3 games only $269.99
  • GameStop refurbished Xbox 360 bundle with 3 games only $179.99
